Live Coverage

The live coverage of Sun Belt Conference Football Media Day will be the most in the event’s history from ESPN3 to all-day long live streaming via the SunBeltSports.org website along with multiple radio shows and more. Sun Belt coverage begins at 8:30 a.m. CT and will continue until 12 p.m. CT before taking a break. Coverage resumes at 1 p.m. CT with both ESPN3 and the Sun Belt going live from Media Day. ESPN3's coverage lasts until 3 p.m. CT while Sun Belt coverage ends at 5:30 p.m. CT.

Who's Coming?

A head coach and two student-athletes from each of the 12 football playing schools will take part in Media Day. Aside from the coaches and student-athletes, Sun Belt Commissioner Karl Benson will give a public address along with the College Football Playoff COO, Michael Kelly. In addition, Sun Belt Coordinator of Officials, Steve Shaw, and select Sun Belt Athletic Directors will also be on hand.

State of the Conference

Beginning with Commissioner Karl Benson’s “State of the Conference” on Monday morning, the Sun Belt will offer wall-to-wall coverage on YouTube and social media of all minimum availabilities of the 12 football teams and exclusive interviews and guests in attendance.

Special guests to be interviewed during the YouTube broadcast, hosted by the Sun Belt’s Whitney Haworth, include Commissioner Benson, College Football Playoff Chief Operating Officer Michael Kelly, bowl representatives and Coordinator of Football Officials Steve Shaw. Coaches and student-athletes will also be stop for interviews throughout the day.
